BioTeachR
Overview

Welcome to the Me, Myself, and I online workbook.
In this laboratory we will explore variation in some human morphological parameters and covariables that are publicly available. As a biologist you will routinely undertake experiments and generate data such as this.
An essential skill is to be able to make sense of these results by both visualising them, and analysing them, by performing statistical tests.
To do this we will be using the software packages R and RStudio. Both are free, cross-platform (Windows/Linux/Mac) and really useful throughout your degree and beyond. R is a command line programming language, which means that instead of creating a graph by selecting from a drop-down menu (as in Excel for example), you write the command for a graph e.g. “plot”.
